Quick Realizations in August

You don’t always have to say yes.

It’s hard for me to say no. When someone asks me something, I give it right away. When someone wants to meet me, I immediately go and see her. When someone asks for a favor, I try to give it as long as I can.

These days, I’ve realized that it’s okay to say NO. Say no when you don’t have time for it. Say no when you really can’t make it. Say no when you really don’t have it.

You don’t always have to be present to the events you’re invited into. You will never be present for everyone, so might as well, choose the events you’re participating in.

You can be alone, and still be happy.

On a Friday, I no longer look forward for mini parties etc. I look forward for coffee dates by myself, and the chance to polish my dream book. What else could be happier by taking down notes and observe people around you?

Also, I’ve learned to travel alone and still be happy. Yes, I can manage big group trips, but at the same time, I can also be a solo-traveler. Yey. Thank God for the never-ending guidance and support.

You don’t always have to be busy.

I really love being productive and busy. However, there are times that my body and system remind me to rest. (Which I really did) This adds balance in my life for real. That I don’t have to be very busy at times. I just need to be calm.

Also, there’s time for everything. There’s season for certain things. I believe on that, and I am hopeful on more better days with the Lord.
